Shut your eyes. Imagine you wake up one day to find that everything you hold dear is gone. Depending on what that might be, the list is manifold. Stay in that disheartenment for ten full minutes, then snap out of it. That depth of emptiness in your gut is a possibility within the next second of your life.
Be grateful for all you have now! Tell a loved one, ‘I love you.’ Don’t sweat the small stuff with family. Treasure every chance you get to have. The things you take for granted are goals for others.
